The WB and UPN merger

It had been a lots of questions about what will happen to Madison's WB57 in the wake of the news that The WB and UPN networks will be merging to form a new network called The CW.  Below are responses to your questions.

What will happen to WB57?
"We will continue to broadcast as Madison's WB57 until early September, 2006"

What does the merger mean?
"What the merger means for viewers is better programming with combined resources and creative talent.  The new CW Television Network will have the best of what currently is on UPN and The WB all-in-one."

How will this affect Madison viewers?
"There's still a lot to be determined, but WBUW is the obvious choice because of our over-the-air broadcast station.  Regardless of what channel is selected, the viewer wins."

Remember when George Clooney, Anthony Edwards, Julianna Margulies, Erik La Salle and Noah Wylie were must see?
Now you can watch ER from the very beginning with episodes that were truly ground-breaking and heart-wrenching.

Then at 4, it's the hit comedy 8 Simple Rules to Dating My Teenage Daughter featuring the late John Ritter, Katey Sagal, Kaley Cuoco, Amy Davidson, and Martin Spanjers.  Who knew that dating had only 8 simple rules.  See this family comedy from the very beginning.

Make your appointment with the new WB's Daytime Weekdays from 3-5pm.
